Tuseef has 12 years experience working in the education directorate of a local authority, with focus on the best outcomes for children and families. Before joining Dignitas Care as a founding director, Tuseef developed his leadership experience in the public sector. As COO, Tuseef works closely with the Executive Leadership Team, setting a clear and long-term vision for Dignitas Care ensuring the organisation is aligned with our Mission for turning children’s lives around. This involves strategic planning, setting goals, and making decisions that drive the company towards its ambitions for our staff, families, stakeholders, children and young people.
Tuseef’s passion is to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, supporting all his colleagues to provide a nurturing environment for children and young people in order that they feel secure, live healthy, happy and fulfilled lives and achieve brighter futures. Tuseef will utilise his expertise in negotiation to ensure that all stakeholders address and fulfil the needs of the child.
Thom is the Registered Manager at Dignitas Care, dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive. With extensive experience in children’s residential care, he brings strong leadership and a clear vision for delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
Thom is passionate about ensuring every child feels valued, respected, and listened to. He leads the team with compassion and professionalism, fostering a culture where staff are equipped, motivated, and supported to provide consistent, high-quality care. By prioritising both the safety and the development of young people, Thom works to create opportunities for them to achieve their potential and build positive futures.
Committed to continuous improvement, Thom ensures that the home not only meets but exceeds regulatory standards, while maintaining a warm, family-like atmosphere where children feel secure and supported.
Imrah Ahmed brings over a decade of experience as a dedicated primary school teacher, having worked extensively in inner-city schools with a high proportion of disadvantaged pupils and children in receipt of pupil premium funding. Throughout her career, she has been a passionate advocate for improving outcomes for vulnerable children and instilling in them a lifelong appreciation for education and learning.
Imrah has a strong background in working collaboratively with families, schools, and external agencies to support children’s academic, emotional, and social development. Her expertise lies in identifying and addressing barriers to learning, promoting inclusive practices, and championing child-centred approaches to support wellbeing.
She holds a leadership certificate from the National Program for Leading Teacher Development, which has strengthened her ability to mentor colleagues and lead effective interventions. Her skills in middle leadership and staff development have proven instrumental in creating environments where children can thrive both educationally and emotionally.
